Lawton M. Nease, III, PhD, CLU
Lawton M. Nease, III (Mac) is the President of Nease, Lagana, Eden & Culley, Inc. Mac specializes in planning for estates and businesses in the affluent marketplace. As an adjunct professor for Georgia State University’s Graduate School of Business, he has instructed courses in business insurance, executive benefits, and estate planning. He has also been a special lecturer to the national legal, accounting and estate planning communities.
Mac has served numerous leadership roles in the insurance industry, including regional vice president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, president of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, and national president of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting. His memberships include the Million Dollar Round Table—Top of the Table—and is an Accredited Estate Planner with the National Association of Estate Planning Councils.
Mac serves on numerous community and charitable boards and is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Tech Foundation, serves as a director of the Educational Foundation at Georgia State University, M Financial Group and M Financial Investment Advisors. Mac also chairs the Product Development Group and the Budget Committee for M Financial Group.
Mac is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology in business and industrial management. He has an MBA and a PhD in business from Georgia State University and the CLU designation from The American College.
